Rooted in the rich musical traditions of Southeast Asia, Ngartini Huang brings the ancient Chinese guzheng into a contemporary Indonesian musical landscape. Drawing from Toba and Melayu traditions alongside classical guzheng and modern influences, her music creates a distinctive dialogue between cultures and generations. Her collaborations with internationally acclaimed musicians, including Grammy-winning flutist Ron Korb and Juno Award-winning pianist Lance Anderson, reflect her expansive musical vision. From performing before former Indonesian President Joko Widodo to appearing on Indonesia’s Got Talent and international festivals, Ngartini continues to bridge tradition and innovation through performance, education, and cultural exchange.
