Johnnie Moylett
Johnnie Moylett is an Irish music promoter based in Tokyo, Japan.He works with Smash Corporation Tokyo, the company behind Fuji Rock Festival, Japan’s premier music festival.Johnnie’s journey in music began as the keyboardist and songwriter for the Irish rock band The Boomtown Rats. Later, he was sponsored by Japan Central Music (JCM) to come to Japan as a songwriter and record producer.In 1997, at the inception of Fuji Rock Festival, Johnnie was recruited by Masahiro Hidaka to scout and book international artists for the event. Since then, he has played a vital role in shaping the festival’s line up,establishing it as a globally recognized platform for live music.
